Pita Crackers with Hummus & Cucumbers • RECIPES JUST RIGHT FOR THE LITTLEST COOKS
Breakfast Banana Split • A classic banana split is composed of a peeled banana cut in half lengthwise, scoops of ice cream, and either fruit or chocolate sauce. With this recipe we’ve not only improved the nutrition, we’ve created a luscious and fun breakfast!
Korean Breakfast Sandwich • As soon as we tried this easy breakfast dish, we fell in love—and if you haven’t had it before, you’re in for a treat. The egg and cabbage mixture cooks up into a sandwich patty that is popular in South Korea. We’ve taken major liberties with tradition and substituted a sturdy wheat bread for the typical milk bread or brioche.
Crunchy Tuna Romaine Salad • This tuna salad is a bit more summery than the usual mayo-and-celery version you may have eaten in the past. We love the addition of tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese, but the real winner is the crunchy romaine and even crunchier toasted panko.
Classic Tomato Sandwich • Summer is tomato time! If you have never had a tomato sandwich, you are in for a wonderful surprise. Just be sure to have lots of napkins handy because this is a very messy sandwich.
No-cook summer salads • The great thing about no-cook salads is that you can simply chop a bunch of fruits and/or vegetables that go well together, put them in a bowl, toss, and voilà: You’ve got yourself a meal.
Summer Homework (just kidding!) • See if you can master these skills by the time school starts!

Pan-Fried Tofu • Tofu might seem uninteresting at first, but once you find a flavorful sauce or marinade, like this one, you’ll find yourself loving it!
Herby Roast Chicken • This is a great summer chicken dish that can be served hot or cold. You can use whichever herbs appeal to you most, but be sure to choose herbs with a woody stem—like the ones we suggest below—since tender herbs like parsley and basil won’t hold up well in the oven.
Turkey-Spinach Smash Burgers • Ground turkey can be dry and uninteresting, but the addition of cheese, eggs, and spices turns it into a really delicious burger that has become a regular in our dinner rotation. Here, we’ve smashed them almost flat to fit into pita bread, but they’re also great wrapped in romaine leaves or eaten solo.
Pasta with Fresh Corn • Corn is at its peak in the summer, and although our favorite way to eat it is right off the cob, sometimes we want something different. This dish is all about the corn, half pureed to make a sauce and half left as whole kernels. Eat it right away, or save some to eat cold later.

Mango Frozen Yogurt • We love a two-ingredient recipe! Especially one that’s this tasty and refreshing. If you’ve never turned frozen fruit into a creamy dessert before, prepare to be amazed.
